Thank you for your continued prayers and support! April was a full and fruitful month — from Resurrection Sunday to Kids’ Day — God was so good to us!
Resurrection Sunday — Two Services!
April kicked off with Resurrection Sunday! This year, we held two services — one at 6:00 AM and one at 10:00 AM. After the sunrise service, we had breakfast together and were blessed to have several visitors join us for the celebration. Attendance throughout the month was incredible, with our highest day of the month being April 19th, with 219 in attendance! Please pray with us that we can stay consistently above 200. We saw it happen in March, and we believe God is going to make it our new normal!
Hospital Ministry — Souls Saved Every Sunday
Our Sunday night hospital ministry had an incredible month. Across four Sundays, our team served 341 meals and saw 65 people trust Christ as Savior. The highlight of the month was our very first Sunday — April 5th — when 15 soul winners went out, and 17 people received the Lord. We are so grateful for the faithful team that goes out every week to serve and share the Gospel to families going through some of the hardest moments of their lives. Preaching and Being a Blessing
April was also packed with preaching at different conferences! On April 6th, I preached at a youth conference camp for Pastor Kevin Wynne. From the 7th through the 9th, I traveled to the mountains of Puebla to preach at the anniversary conference of one of our daughter churches. From the 10th through the 12th, I had the privilege of preaching for another church in the mountains of Puebla — celebrating their 10th anniversary in Teziutlan. Then, from the 13th through the 19th, Nicole and I traveled to Nogales, Sonora (south of Arizona), where we taught at a Christian School conference. Nicole also had the privilege of teaching at a ladies’ conference on Friday and Saturday. What a blessing it was to be a blessing to other churches in Mexico!
Welcome Party and Discipleship Growth
On the evening of April 19th, we hosted our Welcome Party — a special gathering for new visitors and families who have started attending our church over the last two months. About 20 people attended, and many of them enrolled in our discipleship program and signed up for our small groups during the Sunday school hour. Praise the Lord — it is always exciting to see new people take that next step!
¡FBA Graduation and Día del Niño!
On April 23rd, we celebrated the graduation of Faith Baptist Academy — including the graduation of our own daughter, Ashley! It is such a joy to see young people step into the next chapter God has for them. Then on April 26th, Mexico celebrated Día del Niño — Kids’ Day! Our children’s ministry team organized a special celebration and personally gave away prizes, including a bike, to one of the kids. We are so blessed to have such a dedicated team!
Prayer Requests and Needs
Please pray for our attendance to be consistently above 200 — we know God can make it happen! Please pray for our hospital ministry as our team faithfully goes out every Sunday night. Please pray for the new families in our discipleship program, that they will continue to grow in the Lord. Please prayerfully consider partnering with our family to reach Puebla with the Gospel.
