A New Record Month for our Church in Puebla

This is Yair

Yair’s story is one of God’s amazing grace. Just a few weeks ago, he was a stranger on our streets, lost and alone. I was able to talk to him and Yair’s heart was softened. He accepted Jesus as his Savior and has since been faithful to our church.
Despite the challenges he faces, Yair’s faith has remained steadfast. He has been a dedicated participant in our services and even volunteered to serve at our recent women’s conference. However, God had a new plan for Yair. He has decided to return to his hometown in Guatemala.
Please pray for him as he embarks on this new journey. May he find a loving church and continue to grow in his faith.

3rd Annual Ladies Conference

Praise the Lord for a successful 3rd Annual Ladies Conference! This October, over 350 women from 31 churches gathered to be “Sweeter than Honey.” Based on the book of James, our conference offered 9 insightful classes, engaging games, inspiring music, and a delicious dessert bar! We also provided separate classes for teens and girls ages 6-12. Please pray for the impact of this conference as these women return to their churches and communities.

Another Record Month!

It’s always amazing to have a big day in church, but what’s even more special to us is when we have a record Sunday without any promotion. Praise the Lord, the last Sunday in October, we had 220 in attendance—the highest attendance we’ve ever had on a normal Sunday without a special promotion! We can’t help but feel that God is doing marvelous things here at our church. Our average attendance in October was 210, surpassing our previous record for the month! Also, during the same month, we had forty-eight first-time visitors in our church. Many of them got saved during our services! Thank you for your prayers!

Baptisms

Gadiel recently joined our church family. Through our discipleship program, he came to understand the importance of believer’s baptism. On the last Sunday in October, he boldly invited his family to witness his public declaration of faith. Eight members of his family came to see him get baptized! Please pray for Gadiel and his family as they grow in their walk with Christ.

Prayer Requests and Needs

Since we arrived in Mexico in 1999, we’ve returned to the U.S. three times for short-term furloughs. Now, with a thriving church and strong leadership in place, we’re able to travel to the States more often for mission conferences and meetings. Please prayerfully consider partnering with our family to reach Puebla and Mexico with the Gospel.

In Christ,
