Over 200 at Our First Soul-Winning Workshop!
Dear Pastor and church family,
February kicked off with a family conference in Jiutepec, Morelos — about two hours south of Puebla — with Pastor Arturo Sotelo. I had the privilege of preaching on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and it was such a blessing to see so many people dedicated to learning how to build strong families.
The following weekend, Nicole and I flew to Charleston, South Carolina, where we taught at Iglesia Bautista Victoria. The church is currently without a pastor, so they asked us to come and equip their leaders. On Friday night, Nicole taught the ladies about how to run the women’s and children’s ministries, and I taught the men how to organize the church and understand the different responsibilities of a pastor. It was so exciting to see a congregation that, even without a pastor, is completely dedicated to growing both in number and in spiritual maturity!
The weekend after that, Nicole had the privilege of speaking at a ladies’ conference at Hopewell Baptist Church in Napa, CA. She was able to share her testimony and teach a class in English — her first time speaking at a ladies’ conference in English — which she was so excited about! She also taught four classes in Spanish for the Spanish-speaking ladies, who were so grateful to have a session in their language. It was the first time the church had held a conference in both languages, and the response was truly wonderful.
Breaking 200
One of our goals for 2026 is to break 200 in attendance on a consistent basis. Over the last three Sundays, we’ve seen 231, 213, and 211 during the Sunday morning service — praise the Lord! Please pray with us that God continues to bless in this area. We are now praying to break 250 in attendance!
We’ve also continued to see visitors in nearly every single service. In the month of February, we had 26 first-time visitors and 7 second-time visitors. And on Sunday, February 22nd, we celebrated 3 baptisms!
One of our current church needs is additional bathrooms. In order to expand, though, we first need to relocate our administration office, which houses the school office, church office, and Bible Institute office. Praise the Lord, two families recently tithed off of bonuses from their jobs, and we were able to use those funds to begin building a second story in the back of the auditorium. The media ministry and administration office will both move upstairs, freeing up the space we need to finally build those bathrooms!
1st Soul-Winning Workshop
On the last Saturday of January, we organized our 1st Soul-Winning Workshop. It was a very special event. We invited six local pastors to deliver a series of teachings on how to win more people for Christ. God blessed the event, and we had over 200 people in attendance. Without a doubt, the teachings were a tremendous blessing!
Prayer Requests
Our church van was recently broken into, and the vehicle documents were stolen, so we are currently unable to drive it. Please pray that we can get this resolved quickly. We are so grateful they only took the papers and not the van itself!
