560 ladies! A new flyer! And a new believer in Christ!

Rodolfo’s Testimony

Six weeks ago, a man named Rodolfo visited our church. He came carrying many burdens and with a great desire to seek God. Someone had handed him one of our new church flyers on the street. That Sunday, right here at our church, one of our men shared the gospel with him, and Rodolfo joyfully received Jesus as his personal Savior!

When he got home, he remembered that a long time ago someone had given him a small discipleship booklet from a Baptist church in Monterrey, Nuevo León. That week he began studying it and underlining every page. When he reached the lesson on baptism, he decided to obey the Lord. The following Sunday he asked me if he could be baptized. I told him yes! Praise God, Rodolfo was baptized.

New Flyers

Since we arrived in Puebla, we have handed out thousands of tracts, and we designed and printed most of them ourselves. But here in Puebla we have not seen many results from the tracts we have distributed over the past 25 years. On average, only one person a year visited because of a tract. We had to do something different.

I believe God gave me an idea: hand out flyers instead of tracts. They are half-letter size, full color, on glossy paper. The front has an invitation to our church, and the back has the plan of salvation and our address. And something amazing has happened! In four of the last five weeks, we have had first-time visitors because of the flyers. Praise the Lord!
Printing 4,000 flyers costs us 2,250 pesos ($125 USD). Each month we hand out between 5,000 and 6,000, so the cost is about $170 a month. If you or your church would like to help us with this project, it would be a great blessing. These flyers are bringing people to the feet of Jesus!

Ladies’ Conference

Two weeks ago we held our 5th Ladies’ Conference. Our special guest was Mrs. Ruth Walker, whose husband, Pastor Bob Walker, was greatly used of God in northern Mexico, near Tijuana, Baja California. Fifteen other ladies also taught during the conference. Most of them were women from our own church whom God has been shaping over the years!
This year’s theme was “Baptist Hospital,” where we sought to heal broken and wounded hearts with the Word of God. We had 560 women registered, and the church was completely full! Many made decisions for the Lord. To God be the glory!

Plans for 2027

In June and July of 2027, we plan to visit some churches in the United States. If you or your church would like us to visit and share our burden for Puebla, please send me a message, and I will gladly get in touch with you.
