As 2025 ends and 2026 begins, we are ready to close off one year and start another with new goals and a renewed vision to take the Gospel to every person in Puebla!
The last half of 2025 is always our busiest one.
In October, we had our Annual Ladies Conference, and then in November, our Missions Conference. For our Ladies Conference, we had an attendance of 500 ladies! And for our Missions Conference we had an increase of our faith promise giving! We were able to take on more missionaries as a result of this!
In November, we had a Thanksgiving meal at the church as an outreach event. We’ve found that many people enjoy coming to try out the “American food.” After the meal, and before deserts, I gave a clear presentation of the Gospel, and 20 people got saved! Praise the Lord!
Each year, we have a Christmas musical where our church members invite their friends and family to come to hear special Christmas music and enjoy a Christmas dinner at the church. We make special invites for the church members to give out to their friends and family, as well as promote the event on social media.
This year, we also invested in a paid advertising campaign, and as a result, we had 12 families come to church for the first time. In total, we had over 70 first-time visitors and many second and third-time visitors. Praise the Lord, we set a new record of 350 in attendance! And, 22 people got saved that day!
We know that someone coming to church just one time is not going to fulfill the Great Commission. The Bible says to go out and to make disciples, and for us to be able to disciple them, we need them to come to church, not just one time, but again and again.
Some of the ways we’ve been focusing on getting people to come back to church a 2nd and 3rd time are by making sure we follow up with every single visitor.
In 2025, our emphasis was on building up an amazing “Welcome” Team. Our welcome team in the church greets our visitors, prepares gifts for them, and then makes sure to get their name, email, and phone. Then, during the week, we call them and ask them if they have a prayer request, and then invite them to come back for a special event that is just for visitors.
During the special visitor event, we invite them to a meal and then invite them to sign up for a discipleship class or join one of the small groups during the Sunday School hour. Praise the Lord, we’ve seen several families start to attend regularly, as well as baptisms and church membership through this ministry.
Please continue to pray for us as we continue to win souls in Puebla. Our Saturday soulwinning team has also grown. This last Saturday, we had about 40 soul-winners. We are currently giving 8,000 flyers or tracts each month, and need $200 per month to keep up with the printing of the invitations to church.
We are also about to start on some construction projects. Our first construction project is to finish the ceiling in the main auditorium. Please help us pray for wisdom as we do these projects, as well as to find some welders and construction workers to do the project. Thank you so much!
